How to Learn to Play the Piano
If you love to listen to piano music, then
you may be interested in learning how to play the piano
yourself.
But how can you go about
doing so?
Many people
would love to learn the piano, but don’t have any idea where to
begin.
There are also people who
have had previous lessons but were unable to complete
them because they either got bored or never had the right
time needed for lessons.
With a little shove in the
right direction, you should be able to
learn.
To begin
with, you need to understand that there are two different ways
to learn how to play the piano:
by note reading and by
chords.
Where would you like to
start?
You need to answer this
question before getting started.
If you simply wish to play
existing piano music, you need to know how to read
notes.
On the other hand, if you
want to compose music yourself, you need to understand
chords.
If you can learn them both,
then that’s all the
better!
Still, if you
want to learn how to play in quick and easy steps, start with
the chords.
By doing so, you’ll know
the different sounds of the chords.
Note reading can be learned
later on.
